Hello friends! My name is Angela, but most people call me Ange.
I've been trying to write my first blog post for like 5 days now but as we all know, starting something new can be challenging. Flashback to highschool English class when writing the intro paragraph of your essay was hella hard, AMIRITE?
I think my biggest issue was that I was being a 'try hard' and writing to fit the hip #blogger narrative. I was THAT person who went on Google hoping if I typed in "how to start a blog", my first post would just show up completely done. A girl can dream... ANYWAYS, that's not who I am and I actually want this blog to kind of represent my many inner monologues LOL (people who spend time with me experience these regularly). Also, to all the grammar and spelling police - fuck off! This is my blog and I'll do what I want.
Why should you follow me? Honestly, you do you. I'm planning on posting some rad info and ideas on here so if you're interested in reading it that's DOPE and if you're not, then you're just missing out on some cool shit. What cool shit am I talking about? WELL, ever since I can remember, I've had an interest and passion for #photography, #wildlife and #adventure. I have my parents to thank for this! They took me on my first camping trip when I was just under 2 years old and I've been hooked ever since. I love connecting with nature, experiencing new places and sharing that with others. I want to give you all the details about my #trips, #hikes, #gear and photography so that you have all the tools to go on your own adventures.
I can't even guarantee that I'll be consistent with this, but if you don't 'try the thing' then how will you ever know if it'll work out? I hope that my work will inspire you to continue #exploring,#dreaming and #wandering. This is me. Welcome and I hope you learn something new, see something interesting and leave with new ideas. Should I also talk about myself for a quick sec? I'm honestly a little nuts but for some reason I have some really awesome family and friends that vibe with it. I LOVE TYPING IN ALL CAPS BECAUSE I AM USUALLY YELLING. My favourite colour is green, I think the moon is rad and I love penguins and raccoons. I volunteer as a wildlife rehabilitator. I love taking pictures and wearing obnoxious socks. I rock coloured lipstick like 24/7. I like drinking whiskey on the rocks and wine (Although I've been muckin' mad coolers lately). Sometimes I try to talk in different accents but I'm really bad at it and I laugh at my own jokes. There's probably more but IT IS WHAT IT IS (for now). 🤷♀️
